Since the COVID-19 global pandemic led to massive social quarantine in March 2020, a group of 5 monks has completed and consecrated an unprecedented cycle of 17 sand mandalas at GSTDL.

Many of us, students, at GSTDL, were very endeared with Ven. Sopon-la and are deeply saddened by this great loss. We pray for his swift return.
