Venerable Lungrik Gyaltsen was born on March 26, 1981. He was born in Kollegal Tibetan settlement, South India and is of Tibetan origin. He joined the monastery at the age of 10 and belongs to the Dokhang Khangtsen (House).

He completed all the five major texts of Buddhist philosophy studies at Gaden Shartse Monastery. Additionally, he achieved the Bachelor and Master degree from Central University of Tibetan Studies in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is happy to be joining GSTDL to fill the responsibility as managing director and to experience many new friends.
