He completed the five major texts of Buddhist philosophy. In 2007 Geshela took full ordination with His Holiness the Dalai Lama. At Gaden Shartse, Geshe Jampa taught Tibetan grammar and Buddhist philosophy as well as served as editor of the yearly magazine. He received his Geshe Lharampa degree in 2022 and then joined Gyuto Tantric Monastery. His book, "The Lharam Thesis on Madhyamaka" was published in 2022.
