Venerable Kelsang Paldan was born on April 20, 1991, in Kibber, Spiti Valley, India. He attended JNV, a boarding school for gifted students in Himachal Pradesh, from ages 17-19. In 2011, at age 20, Ven. Kelsang joined Gaden Shartse Monastey as a member of Phukhang House. He completed three major texts of Buddhist Studies.
